Venture Global LNG Hires International Marketing Executive

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Venture Global LNG, Inc. is pleased to announce that its whollyowned subsidiary, VG LNG Marketing, LLC, has hired energy marketing expert Dr. Alexander Schreyer. Based in Germany, Dr. Schreyer will have a particular focus on potential LNG buyers in Europe. “Alex’s knowledge and experience in the global LNG market will further enhance and accelerate our international sales efforts,” said William M. Wicker, CEO of Venture Global LNG. “The LNG market is dynamic and North American LNG is an attractive, cost-effective addition to the global energy supply. Venture Global has the capabilities and leadership to succeed in the LNG export business, and I am delighted to join the team,” said Schreyer. Dr. Schreyer comes to VG LNG Marketing, LLC with ten years of trading and commodity sales experience in the European energy industry. He most recently served as Senior Business Developer LNG at E.ON Global Commodities SE. In this role, he was responsible for the procurement of LNG from the US. Further, he contributed to the development of a dedicated LNG-to-power strategy by creating strategic partnerships with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) providers, as well as O&M contractors and feed gas providers. He also successfully structured and negotiated long-term sales and purchase transactions of LNG. Prior to E.ON, Alexander served as a senior consultant with IBM Global Business Services for five years. As a consultant, he led and managed multiple engagements with major oil and gas companies as well as energy trading organizations.
