WASHINGTON, D.C. –Venture Global LNG, Inc. is pleased to announce the hire of Will Fediw as Director of Marine and Regulatory Development. Fediw will be responsible for marine regulatory development and compliance for the Calcasieu Pass liquefaction facility, as well as engaging with the community in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. “Hiring Will is great news for Venture Global and our work in Louisiana. Will’s firsthand knowledge and experience in marine regulatory compliance, as well as his ties to the community, make him a great asset to the Venture Global team,” said William M. Wicker, CEO of Venture Global LNG. “We look forward to further strengthening our efforts to be a great community partner while delivering safe, reliable, and low-cost LNG exports.” Fediw joins Venture Global LNG from the U.S. Coast Guard where he worked since 2007, most recently serving as Foreign Vessel Branch Director, specializing in freight, petrochemical, and gas ship regulatory compliance. In his most recent three years with the U.S. Coast Guard, Fediw was based out of Lake Charles, Louisiana, a close neighbor to Cameron Parish. In addition to overseeing compliance for LNG carriers in the nation’s 13th-largest port, he bolstered key working groups and partnerships with local stakeholders, gaining significant on-the-ground experience in the same region as Venture Global’s facility.
