The regulatory sanctioning of the Delta LNG and Delta Express Pipeline Project is principally led by the FERC. Venture Global LNG submitted a pre-filing request to the FERC on April 17, 2019. The FERC accepted Venture Global LNG’s request on April 30, 2019, setting in motion the environmental review process for the Delta LNG and Delta Express Pipeline Project.

Other participating agencies include the U.S. Dept. of Transportation, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ), the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (LDNR) and various agencies of both the State of Louisiana and local parishes to be crossed by the Delta Express Pipeline.
