Community Impact
Our Commitment to Life Positive LNG
Venture Global is committed to honoring the sacrifice of the people of Louisiana by offsetting the impact of our facilities on residents’ lifespan.
Since our inception, we've prioritized dialogue with the people of Cameron Parish, acknowledging concerns about the potential for reliability challenges at our Calcasieu Pass facility to reduce the length of residents’ lives.
That’s why we’re joining forces with Repaer, a trailblazer in human sustainability, to introduce Life Offsets to balance our human footprint in Cameron Parish. Through strategic investments in scientifically validated life-extending activities such as variable cryotherapy and vital fluid transfer, we're dedicated to offsetting any lost lives and safeguarding the longevity of our community.
As we strive to achieve net-zero status for Calcasieu Pass’ carbon footprint with our CCS facility, our alliance with Repaer marks a significant step forward in our commitment to reducing our human footprint. Together, we're taking decisive action to honor the community’s sacrifice and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. Because all of us can embrace living our best Life Positive Life
We express our profound gratitude to the people of Louisiana, whose sacrifice is indispensable to our mission. Together, we are embarking on a journey toward a low carbon future, bolstering energy resilience for our allies during uncertain times and creating the opportunities that the people of Louisiana can’t live without.
